Apple imovie 10.1 9 free download1/17/2024 ![]() So I decided not to upgrade my MacBook Pro for now. In addition, photoshop, illustrator and Adobe softwares has some issues with the macOS Monterey. I did not upgrade my MacBook Pro because I am a university professor and when I read online it was not recommended to upgrade while using "EndNote X9" version and I am in the middle of submitting manuscripts for publications so I do not want to loose my references or affect my work in any way. I updated my iMac a several weeks ago to macOS Monterey, but not my MacBook Pro. And i have been working on on the same iMovie library all year either on my iMac or MacBook pro with no probelm at all. Then created a different library on my portable drive while the drive is connected to the iMac not laptop and conpied the libradry so I can work on my MacBook Pro macOS Mojave version 10.14.6 (same version as iMac). IMovie I created an iMovie library on my iMac macOS Mojave version 10.14.6. I'd appreciate any ideas not already mentioned.I haven't tried Safe Mode, but don't see how that applies. These videos play well in QuickTime, besides. Yet that media shows up in the window as available, and I can play it there.I just can't download it into the library (either old, or new). It used to be you could download other versions of software from Apple/downloads, but the App Store method seems to have eclipsed that.īTW, iMovie is working fine as long as I don't add any media. But iMovie isn't there, only two unrelated updates. I followed Rich's advice to trash iMovie, then go to the App Store and check purchases to get the latest compatible version. (Odd, considering that those iMovie upgrades span the last 4 years.) I'm assuming that 10.1.16 (from about 6 months ago) probably is compatible with Mojave but Software Update has NEVER listed an upgrade for iMovie for me. For various reasons, I don't want to upgrade to Catalina right now. No good.Īnd, I've followed the Community advice, and deleted preferences etc.Īs others have mentioned, the latest version of iMovie (10.2.x) is NOT Mojave compatible. I have followed advice at and reset the NVRAM, PRAM, set up a new library, etc. In the list of upgrades, it mentions that they fixed this problem of iMovie crashing whenever you import video. ![]() There have been 15 upgrades to 10.1 since then. The version of iMovie that was included in Mojave is 10.1.1. ![]()
